Understanding Research Methods

Understanding Research Methods Online

Wrapping our heads around the panoply of research methods can be quite a heavy lift, whether we're reading the work of others or zeroing in on a method for our own scholarship. This workshop aims to help by covering:

  • Basics of methodological frameworks, and how they intersect with and shape specific research methods

  • Reading scholarly articles with an eye on understanding methods

  • Using library resources to find handbooks and how-tos on research methods

Zoom information is provided after registering (see button below).

(Please check your junk/spam/clutter folder for the confirmation email- may be best to check your mymail directly in Outlook rather than if you forward to Gmail, etc.)

This event will not be recorded. If you are unable to attend please see our Research Tutorials OR we are available for one-on-one appointments. Book your appointment here.

For more Library Workshops see our Workshop Calendar.
