Academic publishing can be both exciting and confounding. In this workshop, we’ll explore the basics of navigating these notoriously choppy waters. In this workshop, aimed at undergraduate students, we’ll discuss: 

  • Locating and evaluating journals for potential publication 

  • Open access publishing, including how to avoid predatory journals 

  • The details of submission and peer review
