A Short Introduction to Digital Humanities Online

Digital Humanities is an area of research that focuses on the intersection between the humanities and digital technologies. This type of research provides a new way to interpret and analyze data. In this introductory session, we’ll cover: 

  • Defining Digital Humanities and explaining the purpose of this research area 
  • Identifying various Digital Humanities tools  
  • Interacting and experimenting with Voyant, a text mining and data visualization tool
