AI and Research

AI and Research Online

This week's workshop delves into the thorny topic of the uses and abuses of AI in academic research. Is there a space for these tools in the research arena, or do their ethical and practical problems preclude doing high-quality work?

What we'll cover:

  • Fundamental AI terms and concepts

  • The ethical and practical pitfalls of AI in library research

  • A critical examination of selected AI tools

Zoom information is provided after registering (see button below).

(Please check your junk/spam/clutter folder for the confirmation email- may be best to check your mymail directly in Outlook rather than if you forward to Gmail, etc.)

This event will not be recorded. If you are unable to attend please see this guide with the information we will go over OR we are available for one-on-one appointments. Book your appointment here.
